Hate to say none of these solutions worked for me. End user is running as a non-admin, and they needed to install something. I had them run the TeamViewer program and I remoted in, but of course the administrative login prompt does not get sent to my end of the connection and so I was stuck. Run Teamviewer Without InstallingThe solution:Have the end user download the TeamViewer app to the computer.Run it, choose the run only options.Remote in to the computer.Shift-Right-Click the TeamViewer app, choose Run As, put in admin account info.TeamViewer will now launch, but complain that it is already running, and prompt with Cancel or Retry.Close the PREVIOUS TeamViewer application (running as end user)Have the end user click Retry and have them choose the install option this time. Now you can remote in and you will have full access to the computer, including any prompts for the admin account. It has been a while since I posted to a dead thread, but it is a top search result. While connected to the remote computer go to the Extras Menu at the top of the screen and choose Remotely Install Full Version. When you hit continue the system will download the full version from the Team Viewer site. It will download the same version of the QS agent. You will be prompted for Windows account credentials for the install. You will get a disconnect message, and the remote system will PROMPT THE REMOTE USER to start the install. When the install completed you can reconnect and will now be able to interact with UAC prompts. I cant believe that teamviewer couldn't supply this info. I paid $1500 plus for a license and was having the same issue. I connect to a user using the quick support. From within QuickSupport I attempt to install the host using the file & extra options so I can have 24/7 access to the computer. Teamviewer prompts me for admin credentials, I enter it, it temporarily disconnects me and then reconnects me to finish configuring the 24/7 host. Run Teamviewer As A Service AppOnce I answer the questions in the wizard the app crashes bc its a non admin account. I have been waiting on teamviewer support to get back to me to no avail. Here is what you have to do:Direct the customer to download and run the quicksupport module. Before connecting to the computer click on the down arrow AND select remote control using windows authentication instead of remote control prompt for confirmation. Enter the admin credentials and now you have full admin privileges while connected to the standard user.Cheers from NYC!
